Our standard insulating machines type EU  have proven their reliability over many years. And with our engineering department keeping the design up to date it is still our most sold slot insulating machine.

If you have many different stack heights to insulate our new developed insulators type SIM should be your choice. Change over time for a different stack height with the same insulation is only some seconds and you can use the same material width for the different stack heights.


If your stator has up to 4 different slot shapes you don't need 4 insulators. Our EUK 4 does all 4 slots on the same machine. You can also decide for our EU 90-MS insulator, that handles an unlimited number of slot shapes (slot bottom needs to be round

Our standard program of machines includes stack heights from 18mm to 500mm. Other stack heights on request.


Elmotec Statomat's coil inserting machines are available in many different versions that can be individually equipped with several options.

The SE series are economic machines for standard stators. The RE machines offer the patented Elmotec Statomat inserting system known from our automatic wind/insert centers that allow highest fill-factors and narrow slot openings.
As options you can add:

  • automatic stack height adjustment
  • Insertion force monitoring
  • Cuff support
  • "high-efficiency" accessory for narrow slot openings / high slot fill factors

Machines for bigger stack and frame sizes can be combined with an intermediate forming station by a cross slide cradle support.


The best winding and insertion still doesn't make the perfect stator. Underestimated by many, Elmotec Statomat has made the forming process another focal point in the product range.

Starting with simple pneumatic presses to open the stator bore after insertion through intermediate forming with expanding lamellas, to final forming of I.D., O.D. and heights of the winding head, Elmotec Statomat has the right press for your forming application.

Cuff support fingers on the tooling protect the insulation cuffs during the forming operation.

The ZFM-K is a very economical press for smaller stator. The stator is loaded manually directly into the tooling. The ZFM-K opens the stator bore and as an option pushes back the wedges and preforms the winding head.

The  ZFM / IFM preforming presses and the EFM / FFM final forming presses use a turntable for load/unload to improve cycle time. They can also be integrated into fully automatic systems. These presses are available as hydraulic or electro-pneumatic versions.


Safety, quality and efficiency are the cornerstones of our BK2-250 lacing machine.

The machine is equipped with a turntable, allowing the operator to load the next stator while the first one is being laced. There are no dangerous manual manipulations of the lead ends necessary. Eliminating the major risk for injuries at a lacing machine.

The end turns are laced with a "diamond" stitch pattern. Both sides are laced at the same time and a real knot is being tied at the end.

The turntable concept allows one operator to manage two machines. Of course the machines can also be loaded directly from a conveyor belt.



Flyer Winding

The A-Winder series is the successor of the legendary M-Winder. Like the M-Winder the A-Winder series is known for its reliability. Additionally there are many new features like the automatic stack height adjustment and the graphical user interface based on MS Windows.

Twist Free Winding

for the specification of paralell wire. In comparison to the flyerwinding the wires don't twist but are winded acuurately next to each other. The winders of the TFW range make it possible to wind 30 paralell wires. A precision layer development makes best results of inserting possible. In combination with Elmotec Statomat patented inserting system a fill factor maximum can be reached. The twist free winders of elmotec statomat can also create layer connections with connecting ends. This makes the process more convenient.

With its patented winding technology the WWM can wind distributed or non-distributed coils (also known as split phase and non-split phase winding). The waves are formed directly during the winding process which saves space and guarantees an optimal  winding result. Winding of parallel wires is done with our twist-free system which improves insertion quality and ensures maximum slot-fill-factors.

Loose-Tooth / Bobin Winding

As the demand for higher slot-fill-factors reaches the limits of conventional winding/inserting technologies, more and more motor makers start wind directly on the single stator teeth that are assembled afterwards or bobbins that are assembled into segmented stators. We offer winding solutions with or without inter-coil connections. To ensure a maximum fill-factor, the wires are exactly positioned and layer transitions are always placed on the top or botom to prevent problems during assembly.

Needle Winding

The advantage of this system are small needle heads. For this system we have a variety of machines in our portfolio. 

The Needle Winder is very flexibel because of its servo axes. Optimal usage for small up to middle quantities. The high speed needle winder with its 2 spindles and 1.100 strokes per minute is for the production of large quantities.
